Somnia's Dream Journal: October 2024 Monthly Update

Somnia’s Road to Devnet has begun with some big announcements, and the publishing of our new litepaper, which details our new Multistream Conesus, and other key breakthroughs that help our blockchain achieve over 400k transactions per second. This has made October a massive month for Somnia, but we’ve also had a ton of other milestones that we want to share with you!

Somnia announced a massive $10 million grant program to onboard developers into the Somnia ecosystem! Developers will also have access to Somnia’s in-house engineers for support, including the core development team, dApp team, and the game development services team. We also offer GTM support, as well as introductions to investors and connections in key industries like gaming.

Improbable announced their role in building the Somnia blockchain! Improbable’s venture builder model supports Somnia by providing world-class engineering talent, breakthrough technologies, and critical resources.

Over 68k worlds have been created in the Somnia Playground!

Somnia also launched our World Builder this month, allowing you to create your own games and virtual experiences. World Builder is an advanced tool designed for creators who want to go beyond simple space customization. It offers a robust set of features that allow you to build anything you can imagine!

Somniacs hunted for hidden pumpkins in the Playground to earn points and climb the leaderboard! The top 25 players shared 2500 USDC in prizes!

In our Uniting Societies Twitter Space, we spoke with Yuga Labs, Thrive, Otherpage, Ediston and the Bored Ape Yacht Club community about the recent Apecoin launch and how we can all work together in a multichain future. Almost 11K people showed up!

This month we hosted our Somniaverse AMA on Discord for a more personal conversation and a better user experience than Twitter. In the AMA we discussed our Road to Devnet and told the community what to expect.
