Somnia’s Devnet Grows With DEX Launch and New Quest Platform For Season 3

Somnia’s Devnet is in motion and starting to see some activity, and now we are rolling out the native DEX for the network, and an internal quest platform in conjunction with the start of Season 3 of Somnia points! 

Introducing Somnia Points Season 3 and the New Quest Platform

The launch of Somnia Points Season 3 is happening alongside our new Internal Quest Platform! This season is designed to reward active engagement, strengthen community bonds, and inspire creativity, all while refining the Somnia blockchain experience. With competition heating up on the leaderboard, this season sets the stage for a highly anticipated Mainnet launch next year.

This is one of the first steps in the evolution of the Somnia blockchain, which will eventually grow into a DAO and community owned project. The community will eventually become the owners and stewards of Somnia, and our quests are one of the many ways that we are onboarding people who will bring value to the network.

Introducing Somnia’s Prototype DEX on Devnet

Somnia is also ready to unveil a prototype decentralized exchange (DEX) that is a clone of Uniswap V3, designed specifically for testing purposes. This initiative is designed to give developers and users a hands-on opportunity to explore Somnia’s capabilities on Somnia’s Blockchain and Devnet. This is a tool that will remain on the Devnet, but will not become a native application on Somnia’s mainnet. 

The Devnet version of Somnia’s DEX includes:

• ERC20 Token Swaps: Trade tokens like TSOM and other TestnetERC20s.
• Faucet Integration: Users can mint tokens via a faucet to participate in swaps.
• Developer Testing Ground: A prototype DEX offering a glimpse into Somnia’s future trading capabilities.

This DEX is not intended to be the final Somnia-native decentralized exchange but serves as a critical phase in the Devnet roadmap. Developers can experiment with the swap function while exploring what’s possible on Somnia’s high-performance blockchain.
