Somnia Developer Meetup: Ho Chi Minh City Recap

The Somnia Developer Meetup in Ho Chi Minh City successfully took place on Saturday, March 29, bringing together over 55 developers eager to learn, share, and collaborate.

The event began with a warm welcome from Paul Thomas, CEO of Somnia Network, who expressed excitement about the vibrant community forming around Somnia’s blockchain ecosystem.

Benjamin, the founder of LoveMania, presented his innovative product, which is an on-chain solution designed to enhance and power meaningful relationships. Attendees listened closely as Benjamin shared insights into how blockchain can positively impact social interactions and connections.

Pham Dat introduced Nim Wallet to the audience, explaining its functionalities and demonstrating how the wallet makes interaction with blockchain technology easier and more accessible. His presentation sparked significant interest and generated meaningful questions from attendees.

Emmanuel from the Developer Relations team at Somnia gave an insightful presentation on various developer tools available within the Somnia ecosystem. He showcased practical examples and guided attendees on how they could use these tools to accelerate their blockchain development.

The meetup provided networking opportunities. Attendees connected, exchanged ideas, and formed new friendships. Many developers stayed after the official sessions to continue their conversations and explore potential collaborations.

During the event, several questions regarding Somnia’s ecosystem fund were raised. The Somnia team addressed these clearly, providing detailed information on how developers and projects can benefit from the available grants.
