Our latest feature, Canvas Builder, is bringing a massive upgrade to The Somnia Playground, where users will now have the ability to show off their NFTs and 2D artwork. Canvas Builder provides a seamless way to convert any 2D image, whether it’s an NFT you own or original artwork, into a metaversal painting that can be showcased in the Playground. We’re also introducing a brand-new gallery map where you can curate and display your virtual art shows.

The Problem

Up until now, customizing your Playground space was challenging unless you had previous experience in 3D creation. This limited the creative expression of many NFT holders and 2D artists. We recognized that there needed to be more ways for everyone to personalize their space and bring their digital assets to life in the virtual society.

The Solution: Canvas Builder

Canvas Builder is the newest way to customize your space in the playground, and it’s easy to do!

Upload or Select: Go to the item builder page, choose Canvas Builder, and upload your 2D artwork or select an NFT from your wallet.
Mint Your Art: Once you’ve uploaded your image, mint it to your wallet. This turns it into an MML-enabled NFT that can be used directly in the Playground.
Curate Your Space: Place your newly created canvas anywhere in the Playground using Dream Gallery. You can also take advantage of our new gallery map, designed to perfectly display your art on virtual walls.
