Somnia’s First Month Brings Five New Games Onchain
Somnia Mainnet is live and the games have begun! Only a month has passed since launch, and already five new games are out and ready to play! This is the beginning of a new era where onchain gaming can evolve with features and systems that were never possible before.
These early releases set the tone for an ecosystem that will keep growing, with new genres, new mechanics, and new ways to play. Take a look at what’s new:
Intraverse
The most recent gaming announcement in the Somnia ecosystem was the onboarding of Intraverse, a gaming-as-a-service platform that helps to boost on-chain traffic and engagement through unique gamified experiences.
The first title from Intraverse is Kart Racers, a kart racing game packed with leaderboards, tournaments, and community-driven competition. The new Dream Circuit edition of Kart Racers on Somnia will expand the experience with a brand-new track, integration of over 100 communities, including NFT projects, memecoins, gaming guilds and many more, each one represented by a playable 3D avatar. Players can pick their favorite character, from the Bored Ape Yacht Club to Quills Adventure, and test their skills on the track!
To celebrate the launch, Intraverse is hosting a major tournament with exclusive rewards for creators, a $7,500 prize pool, and Moon Pass booster NFTs that boost game points by up to 200x. Beyond the event, Intraverse is going to launch its new platform which will roll out daily quests, referral programs, multichain support, staking rewards, new tournaments and additional game modes.
Intraverse founders Soe and Mortiz said that Somnia’s infrastructure was essential for scaling the game to the next level and offering a better and optimized experience to the users.
In an interview with Somnia.Games, Soe and Mortiz said, “Our tournaments can generate millions of on-chain transactions in a single week. Somnia’s scalability, speed and low-cost infrastructure are critical to sustain that. On top of that, Somnia Quests integrates perfectly with our strategies, amplifying the awareness of the event.”
Cafe Cosmos
Cafe Cosmos is a fully onchain social game where players build, farm, and cook with a special speculative twist. The twist is that recipe speculation becomes its own economy, where players can profit by identifying the hottest dishes before others do.
Progression is built around farming, crafting, and resource discovery. Seeds can be grown into crops, ores refined into appliances, and animals provide the products needed to unlock advanced recipes. Once crafted, a dish earns the player a share of its recipe pool. The more people competing in that recipe, the smaller the individual share, which drives players to discover less crowded opportunities.
Adding another layer of strategy, the number of tables in a cafe and the rarity of cookers determine how much of a recipe pool a player can claim. Coffee machines, ovens, blenders, and cutting boards each influence outcomes differently, giving the system depth that feels more like a resource strategy game than a casual farming sim.
Ghosty Trip
Weirdo Ghost Gang is expanding its universe with Ghosty Trip, a new mobile game set on the Ghost Continent.
In the Ghosty Trip world, every departed soul carries the weight of kindness or malice from their lifetime, shaping them into beings with unique abilities. These emotions manifest as Pets, companions that embody both the light and dark sides of human nature. Players forge bonds with their pets, becoming warriors who must choose between two opposing paths. One side fights to purify evil and preserve balance across realms, while the other embraces darkness, threatening to drag the living world into chaos.
With Ghosty Trip, Weirdo Ghost Gang carries its bold artistic vision into the gaming space. Known for its distinctive art, creative collaborations, and community-driven ethos, the collective has worked with over 100 global brands while growing a fanbase that spans fashion, art, and music.
Surviv.Fun
Surviv Fun is a 2D survival battle royale game like PUBG or Fortnite, where players drop into fast-paced arenas, collect gear, and fight to be the last one standing. The game combines the intensity of survival competition with a play-to-earn model that rewards skill and persistence.
The team behind Surviv Fun are GameFi veterans who previously managed more than $50 million in game assets on the BNB Chain. After running into the limits of conventional blockchains, they are bringing Surviv Fun to Somnia to take advantage of the network’s speed, low fees, and support for verifiable randomness. This ensures every match can run fully onchain with fair outcomes and transparent rewards.
Warzone Warriors
Warzone Warriors is a fast-paced 2D side scrolling shooter for both mobile and desktop. It blends classic arcade gunplay with modern progression systems, delivering an experience that’s both nostalgic and fresh.
The game spans three world maps, each containing seven to eight missions. These missions mix shootouts, survival challenges, boss battles, and bonus stages where players rack up coins. Difficulty levels range from Easy to Crazy, so players of all skill levels can dive in and enjoy. Optional objectives add challenges like rescuing hostages, finishing under strict time limits, or completing levels without dying.
Building the Dream
Somnia has also partnered with Uprising Labs to launch Dream Catalyst, a six-month accelerator backed by a $10 million grant pool. The program is designed to help game studios build and scale blockchain-powered titles by combining funding with strategic guidance, mentorship from industry veterans, and technical resources for onchain development. Accepted teams receive support before and after launch, from refining tokenomics and onboarding players to connecting with service providers and securing long-term sustainability.
Alongside the accelerator, Somnia also runs frequent hackathons and hosts the Dreamathon, an eight-week pilot incubator that provides $200,000 in grants to developers growing the ecosystem. Together, these initiatives form the foundation for a thriving pipeline of new games and applications on Somnia.
