This hackathon is your chance to earn a SOMI bounty while building something that wasn’t possible before. To qualify, your project must use the Data Streams SDK to demonstrate real-time capabilities.
As you may have heard, Data Streams is innovative new tech that turns blockchain data into live, structured streams that applications can subscribe to directly, eliminating the need for constant polling or external indexers.
SDS Hackathon
Winning projects receive $300 worth of SOMI tokens each. Teams are encouraged to continue development after the hackathon, with additional ecosystem support available for projects that demonstrate strong potential. Winners will be featured in Somnia’s showcase of Data Streams applications.
Submission Requirements
Public GitHub repository with documentation explaining your Data Streams integration
Working dApp deployed on Somnia
A 3-5 minute demo video showing your application in action
Judging Criteria
Projects are evaluated on technical implementation, effective use of real-time data, integration with Somnia, and potential to evolve into a production application or meaningful ecosystem contribution.
Start digging into the docs now so you can be prepared for the hackathon!
